A place for your keys

A place for your keys. Old keys.

Assign a fixed place for things – this is a well-known rule of organization. Your keys in particular need a logical and fixed storage place.

Do you just throw them down somewhere?Think about your actions when you come home, where would you intuitively like the keys to be? Create a simple key storage point at that place. You can consider a shelf, a hanging pocket, a hook, a magnet, a rack or similar catch-all, also if several keys or key rings need a home. Be creative – maybe you already have in house something that you can use.

Is your key ring (too) large. Consider dividing it into two, each with a clear label. If required, copy your house key so that there is one on each ring, and you can use either ring independently.

Or purchase a handy key organizer (examples here).
